Vivid memories of life in industrial Warrington

Peter Cotterill shared his experiences of life against the backdrop of one of the industrial hearts of Warrington. This week, Ken Bracegirdle has been in touch. He lives on the Liverpool Road end of Wellfield Street from 1942 to 1967 and has fond memories. He said: From my bedroom window I could clearly see the Sunlight sign on the factory building at Crosfields. A very short walk from home was the Coach & Horses pub & across the railway line to the Monks Hall foundry and steelworks.
