JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Some amazing ladies recently participated in the North Dakota Miss Amazing contest on May 1st in Minot.
Bobbi Jo Hofland is the Program Coordinator with Triumph, Inc. says the Miss Amazing contest was created to provide personal development opportunities and grow self-esteem in girls and women with disabilities.
“We provide opportunities for girls and women with disabilities to consider their goals, step outside of their comfort zones, and build networks of support,” the non-profit Miss Amazing states. “By investing in girls with disabilities, we nurture a strong community of leaders who push back against stereotypes and advocate for change, thereby creating even greater opportunities for the next generation.”
