The city of Omaha's Deputy Chief of Staff for Economic Development believes Downtown Omaha is now at a point it can support a large-scale grocery store.
Residents like Austin Ford say they want to see a larger, full-fledged grocery store in Downtown Omaha. "I get (groceries) in Council Bluffs at the HyVee on Broadway or I'll drive down to Baker's on Saddle Creek, or I'll go to the HyVee on like 50th and Center," he said.
