2022 U.S. SENATE FIELD BECOMING CROWDED IN PENNSYLVANIA By Hometown1

Sean Parnell announced yesterday that he will seek the Republican nomination to replace the retiring Senator Pat Toomey in Washington. One of the big questions is whether or not Conor Lamb will once again stand in his way.
Parnell lost to Lamb by a slim margin in last November’s race for Lamb’s seat in Congress. Lamb has not declared for the Senate but has publicly expressed interest in joining what is becoming a crowded field.
Parnell, a former Army Ranger captain who was wounded in Afghanistan in 2006, joins a Republican field of declared candidates that includes another veteran, Kathy Barnette, along with Jeff Bartos, Sean Gale, and Everett Stern. Others who have expressed interest include two sitting congressmen, Mike Kelly and Guy Reschenthaler, who is also a veteran.
