BUTUAN CITY – The Commission on Population, Development Caraga, and the Commission on Human Rights are eyeing active male involvement in maternal and child health as well as responsible parenting towards the elimination of violence against women and children.
During a two-day session on a Kalalakihang Tapat sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyon sa Pamilya (KATROPA) here, KATROPA gathered regional male officials and employees from different line agencies of the government.
“This activity is also in support of the celebration of the 18th Day campaign to end violence against women,” POPCOM 13 Regional Director Alexander A. Makinano told the Manila Bulletin on Monday.
