The Pullman City Council had its first joint meeting with ASWSU since before COVID-19 during a Tuesday night meeting to discuss the interests of both groups. Members of the Services and Activities Fee committee voted to increase the fee from $540 to $559, hoping this 3.5% increase will offset declining tuition rates and rising inflation. Sydney Finch and Kjelt Visser lost the ASWSU presidential and vice-presidential election by about 200 votes, as of Wednesday night. Visser received a phone call at 8 p.m. while waiting for election results with Finch.
