+ January 25, 2021 UNIVERSITY of the Philippines (UP) alumnus and former Philhealth president and chief executive officer Alexander Padilla on Monday, January 25, 2021, accepted the apology of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) over its erroneous list of UP students who have joined the New People’s Army (NPA).
But Padilla, whose name was erroneously included in the list, said he and other UP alumni on the list were still considering charges against the military personnel responsible for the list and its posting online. Pag-aaralan pa namin ng mga kasamahan ko dahil nga gusto namin maging leksiyon sana ito, he said in a radio interview.

CABA, La Union – Two employees of a power energy service company based in Benguet were killed, while three of their colleagues were injured, after the pick-up truck they were riding in fell off a bridge along the national highway in Barangay Gana here on Tuesday, January 5.
Police identified the fatalities as Lemuel Sebio, 32, a resident of Green Valley, Baguio City; and Mark Lardizabal, 49, resident of Tuba, Benguet. They were employees of Hedcor Company, which is based in Benguet.
Their fellow Hedcor employees, who were injured in the mishap, were Jay Nabus, 27, driver of the vehicle, and a resident of La Trinidad; Alexander Padilla, 26, a resident of Baguio City; and Norian Dagyapan, 37, a resident of Tuba, Benguet.
