Backed by his extensive experience and numerous accolades, Alexander Onischuk continues his legacy as a chess Grandmaster while teaching the next generation of chess players.
The 2023 U.S. Open ran from July 29 to August 6 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It offered nine-day, six-day, and four-day schedules, which merged in round 7. The U.S. Open Champion is GM Andrew Tang. The Kasparov Chess Foundation organized the third annual KCF University Cup in February this year. The tournament, which attracted well over 500 university students from every continent, was won by Texas Tech University. The Kasparov Chess Foundation organized the third annual KCF University Cup. This event was played on lichess.org and hosted on chessstream.com on the weekend of February 4 and 5, 2023. The tournament attracted well over 500 university students from every continent and from nearly thirty countries. The event was a resounding success.
