HEAVY snow meant there was plenty of winter fun to be had for Highland families on Wednesday.
Sledges, snowballs and snowmen were the order of the day as young and old alike made the very most of the conditions.
And, with further Met Office weather warnings for more snow â including as much as 20cm to 40cm of fresh snowfalls on the very highest inland areas â winterâs icy grip looks set to continue for many.
