Memorial Medical System Foundation has awarded grants to 32 central Illinois EMS agencies to fund the purchase of American Heart Association instruction books on basic life support, advanced life support and pediatric life support.
The grants will allow the groups to train and educate their staff and increase their instructor pool.
All of the 32 agencies are affiliated with Memorial Health System, which serves as the resource organization for the groups.
