Southern Oregon MLK Ashland Plaza Celebration: The City of Ashland will hold a tribute celebration for the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., on the Plaza in downtown Ashland, at 1 p.m. .
ASTANA. KAZINFORM The tour of Astana Opera’s soloists, choir and symphony orchestra to Almaty ended with thunderous applause. On December 8 and 10, excerpts from national and foreign operas, symphonic works, as well as Giuseppe Verdi’s monumental work Requiem were performed for the classical music connoisseurs of the southern capital under the baton of the Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin.
