Knopf Doubleday Restructures Marketing Department By Karintha Parker | Dec 15, 2020 Knopf Doubleday has announced the implementation of a new departmental structure. Senior v-p and director of integrated marketing strategy Kristin L. Fassler said that the change is intended to augment the skills of the marketing team and help them reach the widest possible audience of readers. Among these changes, each imprint will have its own dedicated marketing director and team that will report to Fassler. The imprints will be supported by Knopf’s new marketing operations group, who, among many services, will provide resources for promoting their frontlist and backlist. Lauren Weber has been newly promoted to director of marketing for Doubleday and will continue to oversee the imprint’s social media strategy and implement campaigns for its biggest titles.
