Assemble celebrates reinvention with 3rd of July food fest

Richmond’s recently reimagined Assemble Marketplace is hosting a “3 rd of July Launch Party” at its location and at the adjacent Craneway Pavilion Saturday, July 3, from 2-7 p.m. A variety of food options, full bar, live music and entertainment will be included for the free event, which is open to people of all ages. An RSVP is encouraged as capacity is limited. “We are so thrilled to host a one-of-a-kind 3 rd of July Launch Party for the re-envisioned Assemble Marketplace,” said event organizers on Assemble’s website. “This event will be the first of many and help us rebuild our beloved gathering place at the Craneway Pavilion on the Richmond shoreline.”

Sign Up A “vulnerable” 22-year-old woman from London has been jailed for 15 months for her part in a “county lines” operation dealing drugs in the Highlands. It was Louise Woolston’s third similar conviction and her defence solicitor, advocate Neil Wilson, told Inverness Sheriff Court that his client was currently serving a three-year sentence for supplying drugs. So-called “county lines” drug trafficking is the practice of moving drugs into rural areas and smaller towns, away from major cities.
