The following story contains spoilers from the eighth and final episode of “The Flight Attendant,” “Arrivals & Departures.”
Since “The Flight Attendant” premiered on HBO Max, Kaley Cuoco has been fielding her friends’ and family members’ best guesses about who the show’s mysterious murderer might be. One of her girlfriends swears it’s fellow flight attendant Megan; Cuoco’s father is convinced North Korean spies are involved. Another friend’s mother told Cuoco that she was disappointed the series made it so obvious that the killer is, of course, Miranda.

If you think of TV shows like food, some are as sweet and insubstantial as cotton candy, some are comforting like a delicious burger, and … some are overcooked and unseasoned. If HBO Max’s
The Flight Attendant was food, it would be a gourmet prix fixe eight-course tasting menu, the kind that where the cook needs to use tweezers to delicately place a rose petal on top of caviar or something. This show was so meticulous, finely crafted, and wildly entertaining that I can’t think of a better descriptor than gourmet television.
Megan didn’t realize she was working for North Korea
This entire storyline felt like it was part of a different show all season long but it all came to a very satisfying conclusion, tied into the main story, and plays into how the show might do a second season (more on that later).
Megan (Rosie Perez) came clean to Cassie (Kaley Cuoco) about stealing information from her husband after Cassie came clean to her about Alex (Michiel Huisman). She began her confession with the word “apparently,” indicating the truth about what she was doing came as a big surprise to her, and explained how she was approached at one of her husband’s conferences.

The Flight Attendantfinale brought the season to a satisfying close while also leaving Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) on the brink of exciting change.
After realizing that Buckley (Colin Woodell) is actually Felix, Alex s (Michiel Huisman) sociopathic murderer, Cassie heads to Rome for work, intent on luring him into a trap with Miranda s (Michelle Gomez) help. Unfortunately, Buckley/Felix gets the jump on Miranda, leaving Cassie to fend for herself when he attacks in her hotel room. Luckily, Cassie procured a gun from her Italian friend-with-benefits Enrico (Alberto Frezza) and manages to fire off one shot. And then, in a totally surprising turn of events, Cassie s coworker Shane (Griffin Matthews) heroically bursts into the room with his
