The last show goes out this Saturday, after 11 years. The former Isle of Wight based presenter specialised in feel-good, happy tunes, many from the glam rock era. The slot is being replaced by Clued Up, a treasure hunt style programme hosted by Lucy Ambache. You can still catch Alex Dyke on the Radio Solent airwaves on Saturday and Sunday nights from 10pm to 1am. Alex told fans on his Facebook page: I wanted to let you know I’m moving to night time radio. I’ve loved presenting the Saturday Morning show. It’s been a huge part of my life for the last 11 years and I would like to thank the BBC for giving me the opportunity to program all the music, and together with you guys build a wonderful feel good radio show just right for a Saturday morning. It’s been a real privilege.
