Rachel Bielajew, PhD student in MIT's Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering, is researching magnetic confinement fusion. Her work in plasma confinement, transport, and turbulence in tokamaks has applications in tokamak design. She is also passionate about helping make a better world through science and community action.
