WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - The Disabled Persons Action Organization plans to hold 4 concerts this summer if state COVID-19 guidelines allow it.
DPAO said it’s exploring performances with the following entertainers:
Earth, Wind & Fire
Bad Company
Halestorm
The agency said it’s planning on one outdoor concert as well as three indoor concerts as part of the DPAO 2021 Summer Concert Series.
DPAO said it also has plans for its annual Rock & Roll Oldies Show along with a fall show if COVID-19 guidelines allow.

WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWNY) - Itâs been days of emails, texts, and phone calls to the state.
âThey know exactly where I stand,â said Jefferson County Legislature Chairman Scott Gray.
Where exactly does Gray stand? He says a majority of vaccine doses for the region are going to Potsdam, feeding the state-run clinic set up there.
That forces residents to drive more than an hour to get a shot.
âIâm not against the state sites,â Gray said. What Iâm saying, is that itâs coming at the expense of other operations.â

Friendly limousine driver Lloyd Christmas, stomach aflutter and confusing genders, asks beautiful socialite Mary Swanson, “What do you think the chances are of a guy like you and a girl like me ending up together?”
“Not good,” Mary softly responds.
“Not good like one out of a hundred?” Lloyd asks.
“I’d say more like one out of a million.”
Lloyd processes Mary’s answer before shouting with glee, “So you’re telling me there’s a chance!”
Back in what I’m not so sure is the real world, during this past 4th of July weekend on the St. Lawrence River in Alexandria Bay and waterways around the nation, boaters paraded in groups flaunting Trump flags and banners. You wouldn’t think Trump flotillas would bring to mind comedy classic Dumb and Dumber, but they do. Lloyd Christmas, like millions of similarly cerebral but far less lovable MAGA Americans, cannot face reality. Mary Swanson,
