A 15-year-old artist, Raynah Hazari of standard IX, organised an event that brought around 50 members from the transgender community together. Keeping the ongoing monsoon in mind, the event, titled ‘Falak’, saw participants unleashing their creative side and painting umbrellas. The main aim behind hosting this event was to foster an inclusive environment and drive home the concept of parity in society. Mentored by artist Satyendra Rane and supported by Sahayog Art Foundation, Aabha and Alert Citizen Forum, 50 members of the trans community gathered at the Lakshami Nappoo Hall in Matunga to participate in this unique event that filled colours in their lives.The event was graced by well-known trans fashion designer Saisha Shinde, who came forward to support the initiative.
