The balance of public and private interests and the mutual understanding of government and business is important, Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Minister Aleksei Bogdanov told journalists on 22 September.
Aleksei Bogdanov said: “We hope it will be passed by the end of the year. The adoption of the document will simplify the import of goods, which import into our country has been forbidden due to Western sanctions.”
Aleksei Bogdanov said: “Free competition and the observance of antimonopolistic practices are important for any state. But in complicated times one has to resort to tougher price regulations. The measures can vary. We actively use them in our country but we believe that these are temporary measures."
“Digital turnover in the economy is on the rise. The eyes of antimonopoly authorities of all countries will be increasingly focused on this area,” said Aleksei Bogdanov.
