Another 65 exoplanets have been added to the online NASA Exoplanet Archive, bringing the grand total of known exoplanets to 5,005, the Washington, D.C. space agency has announced.
In 1992, when the first exoplanet discovery was announced by Aleksander Wolszczan and Dale Frail, no one could have imagined that only 30 years later thousands of exoplanets would be known to humanity.
