Hayward have detained at least two men in a hotel over there across the bay with, quote, a ton of pills in their possession. Burlingame detectives are en route to confirm whether these are the same men who stole highly addictive and dangerous drugs from a local walgreens here in burlingame. I want to show you some surveillance images. This is one of the suspects inside the walgreens on El Camino Real here in burlingame just before 1 00 a. M. Tuesday morning. Two men entered the store, one jumped the pharmacy counter and pulled a knife. The tech stayed on the ground while the armed robber pillaged the pharmacy for xanax and hydrocodone and stole a combined total of around 3200 pills. I believe its a schedule 3 or 4 narcotic. Its very serious. It has properties as far as their effects similar to heroin. Its a very strong drug. And because its so strong, it has very addictive properties, which is why people resort to robberies and other such Violent Crimes to sustain their addiction. Repo
