At the front door, bertics fatally shot 19 year old clare orton, then himself. this is really shockingand sad. Alecia Authorities Say there were no previous issues of domestic violence, or warning flags, and bertics did not have a criminal history. this one is especially painful because the victim and suspect both come from supportive families. Residents from all walks of life came to remember this Police Officer who touched some many peoples lives the death of sergant scott lunger was on the minds of the people of hayward.
