THE Tyne Valley s newest supermarket has opened its doors for the first time. Prudhoe s new Aldi at the town s retail park on Low Prudhoe opened on Thursday, January 14 to much fanfare. Standing at 1,254 sqm of retail space, the Prudhoe Retail Park store is the first Aldi to open in the area. The new store will be run by Store Manager Kraig Broadhead, along with a team of 30 colleagues from the local community. Store Manager Kraig Broadhead said: “It’s been a wonderful morning here at the opening of Aldi Prudhoe. It was lovely to welcome our new customers into store and I look forward to meeting more of the community in the coming weeks.
