Mayors Monday: Wausau’s Katie Rosenberg By Mike Leischner Mar 1, 2021 5:00 AM WAUSAU, WI (WSAU)  The city of Wausau has begun what will be a long discussion on the future of a plot of land on Cleveland Avenue. Last week the City Council held a Committee of the Whole meeting to digest information regarding the level of contamination left behind after Connor Forest Industries left the city. Mayor Katie Rosenberg said the meeting was designed to get everyone on the same page, considering the content of the data. “There is a lot of scientific information,” she said. “Not everyone may be at the same level of interpreting that, [myself] included. It’s good that we all got together.”
