Rainfall Upwards Between 50 and 120mm Are Likely Across The Region Severe weather is knocking on our door with meteorologists predicting a dynamic day and warning the time to prepare is now. Speaking with Kylie and Kev, Prime7 news anchor and meteorologist Karl Lijnders says the North East and Southern NSW region is forecast for a very wet day. Article continues below “Severe thunderstorms are very likely, with strong to severe weather right throughout the day,” Karl warned. “Rainfall upwards between 50 and 120mm are likely across the region over the coming 24 to 36 hours, so again flood watches are likely to be issued or re-issued if they haven’t already been by the Bureau.

Clubs Receive Boost To Level Playing Field

VIC Premier The Andrews Labor Government is investing funding to level the playing field for women and girls in sport and active recreation. Minister for Community Sport Ros Spence today announced 21 community sporting organisations across the state which will benefit from the first round of the Labor Government’s 2020-21 Change Our Game Community Activation Grants Program. The community activation grants, worth $2,500 each, are designed to support Victorian clubs and sporting organisations to further gender equality through sport and active recreation. This round of the program has been redesigned to fund the delivery of an online workshop for more than 100 nominated club members.
