Kabul, May 29 (EFE).- At least four civilians were killed and 11 others were injured after a roadside bomb hit a bus carrying university teachers and students on Saturday in the northern Afghan province of Parwan, officials said.
The blast took place at 4:15pm in Charikar, the provincial capital, as the bus was traveling from Albironi University in Kapisa province to the capital Kabul.
Tariq Arian, Interior Ministry spokesman confirmed to Efe that all of the victims were students or teachers at the university.
“Police are currently investigating the blast and we will release further details later,” an administrative official in Parwan province said, who said 14 people had been injured.
