Time appears to have run out to pass all the bills necessary in time for the start of the new fiscal year, on october 1. If they dont succeed, all non essential functions of the federal govenrment will shut down, with Nonessential Workers places on furlough. The last shutdown, between December 2018 and january 2019, lastest 35 days, the longest ever in us history.
