A group of Malawians living in Ireland have lived up to their promise and deposited a cheque worth K1 225 000 [one million two hundred twenty-five thousand kwacha] to the Banda brothers Lucius, Paul and Francis who are presently battling kidney and cancer ailments.
The symbolic presentation was held at Dorvic Hotel in the commercial capital Blantyre on Saturday.

Association of Malawians in Ireland (AMAI) president, Henry Mkumbira Phiri, told Nyasa Times in an interview that he was proud that “members earnestly gave and stuck together” throughout the fundraising.
