we begin tonight with news out of virginia where police surrounded a car that crashed. at this hour, they are looking for a man with a handgun who abducted a woman in a metro station garage. this began tonight when a woman was carjacked at gunpoint in the parking garage at the metro station about 7:00. the search is underway for the suspect in lorton. reporter: it is a very active search trying to find the armed gunman. officers are spread out all over the area. it s hard to see in the dark, but what the squad cars are surrounding is the victim s car. the car is suspect crashed and fled from a short while ago. for the female victim, it was a terrifying hour long ordeal. the good news, she emerged in the ordeal uninjured. it started when she was in the parking garage just before 7:00. that s when a man approached her with a gun and forced her into the trunk of her camaro. he drove around for about an hour before releasing her in a residential area. the woman ran to a near
