Reporter they found one man injured who was taken to the hospital. When that suspect surrendered he was covered in blood and he threw down the weapon and gave up. They think he had superficial wounds on his hands and he too was brought to the hospital. They say the police chief did tell us earlier today that this suspect was seen in the vicinity of the Jewelry Center before. So theres some indication that perhaps he may have been there worked there or possibly newsom people there. We still dont know what triggered the gunfire and the murders there. This is Something Police are trying to investigate and were told because the street is still cordoned off, its possibly that the Tactical Squad is still going floor to floor to look for possible seconds suspects, although they are pretty sure now, allen, that they may have
The building has been evacuated tonight after a search for possible suspects shows awe a Massive Police presence and a huge traffic back up because of the shut down streets there. People are trying to get into San Francisco on a fry fri night. Traffic is inching along trying to get into San Francisco. When you have what could be an active shooter situation, we want people to secure in place until we come along and tell them that its safe to exit the building. That has happened on the whole first floor where this crime occurred. Those folks have been evacuated. As they clear the rest of the building, everybody else will be told when its safe to do so.
