MADISON A two-vehicle crash caused injuries to four people who were transported to area hospitals.
The driver of a 2012 black Dodge, Teresa Woods, 31, of St. Louis, was allegedly fleeing a traffic stop by the Madison Police Department and traveled southbound onto Interstate 55 from Illinois Route 203 southbound, in St. Clair County. The driver crossed all the southbound lanes and went off the roadway to the left, when it struck a concrete median and spun into the path of a southbound 2012 gray GMC striking the vehicle. The Dodge came to a stop on its roof.
