This afternoon it will be windy blustery and still on the chilly side. As we head to school kids were halfway there. Around lunchtime youre halfway there. You know what i mean. 42 degrees on the Storm Tracker 6 app on your smartphone. 39 by 8 oclock and by noon up to 41. Again your high today is going to be that 42. I think well hit that probably around 2 oclock and then by 3 oclock back down to 41 and by 6 oclock, 37 degrees back into the 30s. Looks like a couple of breezy days, a little more precip on the way over the next 48 hours matt and then things get better for the weekend. Details coming from accuweather. Halfway there. We like that. Good progress. I think progress is going to be relatively quick at least quicker than yesterday on your way into work this morning. The roads are drying out, the traffic is light so far. This is a live look at the vine street expressway where all is fine on the vine as you head eastbound toward 95. No problems so far this morning. On 95 itself and
It probably will expire before dawn tomorrow but throughout the day today and tonight theres the possibility of another two to 4inches of snow. Traveling up past allentown into the pocono area you might want to keep that in mind. Satellite shows you we still have that area of low pressure kind of pinwheeling off to our north continuing to push away from us. Dont expect a lot but there could be a popup rain or snow shower at some point. Temperatures this morning arent too bad, 42 degrees in philadelphia, 39 in allentown. I can see these dipping a little as the morning goes on before they start to slightly turn around. If youre dressing the kids i would still dress them fairly warmly because we are only going to be getting up to about 40 today and there will be a gusty wind through most of the day. On your smartphone the Storm Tracker Storm Tracker 6 app shows 42 right now, probably 38 by 8 oclock and i dont think were going very far today. And i dont think were going well probably sit t
Ive got an issue in the poconos to talk about aWinter Weather advisory is in effect. Some of niece counties you see highlighted in purple bae may get dropped off the board later today but in some cases well stay into a winter advisory until thursday. If youre driving to the poconos any time today or tonight you might run into a little bit of accumulating snow. Satellite and radar shows you were going to see a breakup in the clouds early today but then those clouds up to the north will roll in and we might see a little rain or snow shower pop down out of the poconos as well as we go through the afternoon. Not any impact from it really but something to keep your eyes on. 41 degrees right now in philadelphia. We have winds in the teens right now and it is feeling like its in the 30s everywhere so dont be fooled by those numbers. And as we head out to the bus stop this morning bundle up a bit. By 7 oclock well be at 40. Its possible well dip to 39 by 8 oclock and it will be breezy no matte
