Toledo police shot and killed a homicide suspect after officials said he fled following the death of his live-in girlfriend and later repeatedly pointed a gun at officers. Police said 33-year-old Albert Alderman reported early Sunday that 29-year-old Kelsie Barnier was unresponsive. But Lucas County's coroner later ruled the death a homicide. A chase began Sunday afternoon, and police say he ultimately stopped and pointed a gun at officers. Police say four officers fired, then fired again when he began to get up and again pointed the weapon at officers. Alderman died at the scene. Police say the officers' information, body-worn camera footage and dash-cam footage will be released later.
