Officials seek help identifying individual in Green County newborn death investigation

ALBANY, Wis. (CBS 58) Authorities in Green County are asking for the public s assistance as they continue to investigate the death of a newborn baby who went missing on Jan. 9 in the village of Albany.
The death is being investigated as a homicide, and a person of interest has been taken into custody.
Officials have released photos of a person walking in Albany on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
Anyone who saw this person walking on this date, or has any information about this person, is asked to contact the Green County Sheriff s Department at 608-328-9400.

ALBANY (WKOW) – Authorities in Green County say they are considering the death of an infant over the weekend in Albany a homicide.
A person of interest has been taken into custody, and authorities have released photographs that they are hoping people can identify, according to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
The newborn baby was reported missing Saturday, January 9 in the village of Albany and found dead the next day, according to authorities.
The DOJ has released photos of a person walking in Albany on Tuesday, January 5. That s the same day the infant was born at a home in Albany.
