The KEP Project “Supporting the Albanian Regulatory Authority to improve the efficiency of the wholesale electricity market” started with a launch event and workshop in Tirana on 29-30 March.
The project, financed by the CEI Fund at the EBRD contributed by Italy, is a capacity-building action primarily aimed at supporting the Albanian Energy Regulatory Authority in the creation of a well-functioning wholesale electricity market in the country including the entry into full operation of ALPEX (the Albanian Power Exchange).
