OAKLAND, Calif. - At least two shooters opened fire on a party bus in Oakland, killing two teenage girls, to avenge the shooting deaths of two 17-year-old boys, sources told KTVU.
No arrests have been made, but investigators are working on the theory that the shooters were targeting a boy they believed was on the bus, according to sources familiar with the investigation.
That target had posted live on social media that he was getting on the bus, sources said.
Authorities suspect last week’s ambush attack on a party bus on Interstate 580 in Oakland that killed two teenagers was in retaliation for a shooting in East.
