GWYNEDD Council is looking to recruit new apprentices in a variety of fields over the coming months. Welsh language apprenticeships including business and administration, childcare and adult care, civil engineering, cyber security and electrician are available following the launch of the Council Apprenticeship Scheme in 2019. The scheme offers the chance to begin on a career path while learning on the job, gaining professional experience and a relevant qualification through the medium of Welsh. Cllr Nia Jeffreys, cabinet member for corporate support, said: “As a council, we want to secure good jobs for the people of Gwynedd and as one of the county s largest employers, it is important that we continue to develop a quality workforce for the future.
