Arctic Valley Master Plan

Description: The Anchorage Ski Club (ASC) is excited to extend this RFP to develop a master plan for Arctic Valley. The ASC formed in 1937, and is a 501(c)3 non-profit that owns and operates the facilities at Arctic Valley Ski Area, within Chugach State Park (CSP), just outside of Anchorage, Alaska, USA. Due to the formation of CSP, the original lease could not be renewed, and the disposition of the land agreement was in question for many years. This uncertainty severely hampered ASC s planning and development efforts over the last decade or longer. In 2020, ASC and CSP completed a 20-year concession agreement with two 20-year extension periods. This has allowed ASC to again focus on long-term planning and capital fundraising. In 2020-21, ASC developed a Strategic Plan for AV, the first goal of which is to develop a Master Plan.
