Police had to negotiate with the suspect. He has been taken into custodies. There are no injuries to report. If you were around the bay area yesterday many people experienced wind gusts. Tree after tree toppled down from antioch to san mateo. In berkley a tree decided to rest itself on a couple cars. Some of the trees came close to taking lives. Our car was parked behind this car. It basically covered our entire car. My husband could barely back out. We had to lift the tree as much as we could. I feel relieved that i was not standing there two seconds earlier or it would have been me. The winds have died down by those affected are being extra careful. Theyre looking up at other trees or branches that may fall. Strong winds are not only causing damage. Theyre putting cal fire crews to the test.
