MUSICIANS raised more than £400 to fight poverty in Worcester. The Worcester Musicians Against Food Poverty held a successful fundraising gig for the Worcester Food Bank on Sunday, February 7. The event was organised by Tor Pingree, one quarter of the midlands based band Humble Helios. The virtual gig was live streamed through Facebook with the help of Alaric Stephen, and featured 20 minute sets from artists James Chatfield, Theoen May-Dawes, Ellie Williams, Immy Stanley and Tor herself. She said: “We wanted to support the foodbank here in Worcester as there has been a spike in demand due to the pandemic. “The need to access this vital services is crucial; nobody should ever have to worry about not being able to feed their families which is why we were all so happy to organise this.”
