I dont do controversial cartoons just for the sake of controversy. The point of editorial cartooning is to reach a message to the audience that will not be overshadowed by the controversy surrounding it. Where there may be an opportunity to use mohammed, just the fact of having that in the cartoon would overshadow the point i was trying to make and take away from the effectiveness of the cartoon.
