Because, understandably, the fight for womens equality did not stop with the success of the suffrage movement. As widely expected, the us senate has ended the impeachment trial of President Trump by finding him not guilty of abuse of power and obstructing congress. Donald trump was impeached by the house of representatives, where his opponents in the Democratic Party are in the majority but the republican majority in the senate has cleared him, so he has evaded the attempt to remove him from office and will fight for re election in novembers election.
