Gundersen, a healthcare system in Onalaska, Wisconsin, is implementing a microgrid system that will enable them to use renewable energy for their campus and provide power during grid outages. The system, which includes solar and generator energy assets and a battery for storage and distribution, is expected to be operational by 2025.
