Captain Sir Tom Moore s family announced today that he has passed away after testing positive for coronavirus
The WW2 veteran and beloved fundraiser lost his life having been taken to Bedford Hospital on Sunday, the Mirror reports.
He had been receiving treatment for pneumonia for some time and testing positive for Covid-19 last week.
Politicians, notable figures and celebrities are paying tribute to the veteran and his family.
