LEGISLATION on hotel quarantine will be ready for Cabinet approval next week according to a Government Minister.
The move will see travellers entering Ireland from some countries facing mandatory 14-day quarantine in hotels surrounding airports.

Minister Peter Burke says legislation on hotel quarantine will be ready for approval next week
20 countries are now included in the Government s coronavirus high-risk list. People arriving into Ireland from these countries will face mandatory self-quarantine for 14 days.
When the new legislation is in place arrivals who do not have a residence in Ireland will be required to quarantine in hotels.
According to Minister for Local Government and Planning Peter Burke, this legislation will be moved for Cabinet approval next week.

HUMAN bones were unearthed today during work on a new Greenway which is following the route of an old railway line in East Cork.
The grim discovery of the bones including a skull was made by startled workmen who immediately ceased construction work and notified Gardai.
