Alamo City Arts presents: Impressions Symphony Viva ends their season with a bang; highlighting three works inspired by science, death, and art! American composer Roger Zare’s Lift-Off, an exciting depiction of a space shuttle launch, opens the program. Carolyn True then joins the orchestra for a demonic scamper into the virtuosic world of Franz Liszt’s Totentanz. Finally, what better way to conclude the season than with Mussorgsky’s colorful, sweeping, and transcendent work Pictures at an Exhibition? Don’t miss these extravagant and elegant pieces on Sunday, June 12 at 3PM at the University United Methodist Church (5084 De Zavala Rd.). $15 for adults; $10 for children
