Kabul (BNA) The Ghazni parliamentary elections that was delayed in 2018 due to “security issues and other problems” as well as the provincial councils’ elections will be held next year in October, the election commission said.
Hawa Alam Nuristani, the chairperson of the Independent Election Commission, said the problems that happened in the previous elections will be prevented in the upcoming elections.
Officials of the commission, who addressed reporters at a press conference on Saturday, said the election has been estimated to cost $19 million.

The elections in Ghazni, a province where the Taliban control several districts, had to be postponed in 2018 for security reasons and other issues.
