Woman killed in police shooting near Warrenton identified KATU Staff © Provided by KATU Portland The Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday released the name of a woman that an Oregon State Police trooper At about 1:40 p.m. Monday, a 911 caller from a home in the 33000 block of Oregon Lane just south of Warrenton reported that a woman had walked into his home and then barricaded herself in one of his rooms. The room contained several guns, deputies said. The sheriff’s office said deputies negotiated with 31-year-old Alaina Burns of Astoria for almost an hour while she was in a second-floor room of the home before she fired a gun. Deputies continued to negotiate with her for another 40 minutes, but she went out onto a balcony and then onto the roof of the home.
