As Alabama s COVID cases are continuing their downward trajectory, Bishop State Community College, with the guidance of the Alabama Community College System (ACCS), is beginning to construct reopening plans for the Fall 2021 semester.

At the directive of the ACCS, Bishop State plans to resume normal on-campus operations for all faculty, staff, and students. A contingency plan will remain in place should local and/or state health guidance, or guidance from the ACCS office, require drastic modifications to instructional delivery and college operations. The health and safety of our faculty, staff, and students is our top priority here at Bishop State, says President Dr. Reggie Sykes. We know how vital face-to-face instruction is to the success of our students and we look forward to having them back on campus when we feel it is most safe to do so. Bringing students back to campus this fall gives us time to ensure this transition to normal operations
