Doha: A week into the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Qatar, post-vaccine surveillance has not reported any serious side effects. A small number of those who have taken the vaccination reported very modest side effects including low-grade fever, mild headache, fatigue and soreness at the injection site, which is commonly seen with other vaccines.
Since the start of the vaccination campaign on Wednesday, December 23, the PHCC teams have successfully vaccinated people at 7 designated PHCC Health Centres - Al Wajbah, Leabaib, Al Ruwais, Umm Salal, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Thumama and Muaither.

Doha: Qatar has become among the first countries in the world to provide a safe, effective and approved COVID-19 vaccine totally free for its population, as the largest ever vaccination campaign was launched across the country yesterday.
The former president of Qatar University, Dr. Abdullah Al Kubaisi, was the first person who received Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine in Qatar.

H H the Amir granted H E the Cuban Ambassador Al Wajbah Decoration in recognition of his role in contributing to enhancing bilateral relations between Qatar and the Republic of Cuba, wishing him success in his future missions and the relations between the two countries further progress and prosperity.
